I'm sorry for going in that much detail but frankly its starting to annoy me as you probably know that SMIM is a must have mod after looking at those Vanilla ropes I can't help to notice how bad they look.

I found a page on the Skyrim Nexus that gives you a list of over 200 mods to improve the graphics of skyrim and a list in the order they should be installed in so enough of that heres the link: Īnyway I followed all the steps in detail I did EVERYTHING it told me to do (I got TES5Edit and cleaned dirty files, I got LOOT, and many mods it recommended to me and I'm quite familiar with modding so I dont mean to be rude but spare me the newbie information) but when I got to a mod called Static Mesh Improvement Mod (SMIM) I was installing the correct version through Nexus Mod Manager and it gave me the options form on which game to pick and which quality to pick so I checked the box that stated "Original Skyrim 2011 Everything WITH Dragonborn DLC" and then I clicked finish and it continued installing but when it got to 100% it states that an error in the installation occured. Recently for Christmas I got myself an MSi Geforce GTX 1070 Gaming X and it works wonders! so I decided to revisit skyrim as previously I had a graphics card that couldn't handle intense mods that improve the graphics of Skyrim. Now two separate parts.Hello, before you ask yes I have researched about this problem and all I can find are theorys, ifs, buts and not a solid answer which is why ive come here as a last resort in hope that someone with the knowledge of a fix will come across my thread.

Updated to change Part 1 to full SMIM version 1.75 since SW now allows large mods.Adds various improvements, notably better sarcophagus meshes, doorbars, stone pillars, and wood pyres. All meshes run through the NifScan utility and I corrected minor errors in about 66 meshes. Adds various improvements, notably 3D ropes in Solitude and Riften and bumpy cobblestone roads to all SMIM bridges. Many meshes had minor technical issues corrected. The hanging rabbits had their hind legs stretched out to look more realistic. Adds various improvements, notably real physics for barrel lids (see video above). I apologize for this oversight that caused people's games to crash if they didn't have Dragonborn! Updated to use the non-Dragonborn version of SMIM (no hawk fixes but they're minor).Shack roof improvements, USSEP fixes, pull chain fixes.
